Fundraising Superheroes Episode 16: Kid in the Corner Opens the Conversations With Kids on Suicide

Kid in the Corner has a clear mission, to open the conversation around suicide and show kids that they are not alone in their struggle. Their founder Francine Sumner joined us on the podcast to talk about how she started the organization after her son Zachary committed suicide.

The conversation surrounding mental health is becoming more frequent but suicide can still be a hard topic for some. Francine explains that some people are hesitant to talk about it but it is a necessary conversation to have. "We have a responsibility to youth and the next generation because kids are talking about it, kids are thinking about it, they are talking to each other about it.”

To learn more about Francine’s story and Kid in the Corner listen to the latest episode of Fundraising Superheroes linked above.
